Daily Kos ate my diary so I'm going to keep this short and sweet.
We need less "hur hur laugh at the Redumbicans" Front Page diaries and more diaries of substance on the Front Page. Front Page articles need calls to action at the very least. But more importantly they need to be about more than just pointing fingers at the Republicans so we can see how truly silly and evil they are.
Can Mitch McConnell keep Ted Cruz from becoming de facto Senate majority leader?

Republicans rush to alienate female voters
Top member of the establishment tries to claim he's anti-establishment

Look Daily Kos. I know the Republicans are evil and stupid. I get that. So many times though, these Front Page articles do nothing to help people know how to respond to the threats they're being told about. That's when these FP articles are at their most benign. At their very worst they're a Right Wing distraction machine that keeps everyone scoffing at the silly Republicans while the TPP gets negotiated behind everyone's backs.
I know this might be a radical idea, but maybe fewer diaries by the same people would let those people research their material more. And a more diversified front page would allow for more substantive discussions about the threats America is facing not even from just Republicans, but from our own Democratic party.
